  • What does it mean to commission a piece of Art?

A) Commissioning a piece of art means to hire your chosen artist to create a piece specifically for you. This is a process in which the artist and client embark on a creative journey together, from the perception of your idea right until the finalisation of your piece. 
 
  • How do I start?

A) All you need to do is send an email to info@shannonpstudio.com stating your requirements. This will include canvas size, frame/no frame, colour specifications and images/description of what you have in mind. Please subject this email as 'Commission Inquiry'

 

  • What can you create?

A) I can create anything you desire. I mainly work in the realm of texture,      creating patterns and designs and these can be done in any colour palette of your choosing.

 

  • What is the payment process?

A) Upon agreement of the commission quote a 50% deposit is required to cover materials (T's & C's apply). Then on completion and once you are happy with your piece the remaining 50% is required before we are able to ship out/allow collection of your piece.

 

  • How long will it take?

A) This can vary depending on the specifics of canvas sizes as some may need to be ordered in specially. Generally commissions take anywhere from 1 - 4 weeks based on project size.
